Ekaterinburg has the international airport "Koltsovo". There are a number of international flights from main capitals and big cities of the world to Ekaterinburg and several seasonal international charter flights. You may also get to Ekaterinburg from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg by regular flights. Plane from Moscow: 2,5 hours.

Transfer
You may get to Ekaterinburg from the airport "Koltsovo" using train service, taxi or bus service.

Train service:
You may take an express from station "Airport "Koltsovo" to the railway station "Sverdlovsk-Passazhirsky" ("Свердловск-Пассажирский").

Time: 35 minutes from the airport to the railway station.

The number of main stops - 3 (Sverdlovsk-Passazhirsky railway station; Pervomaiskaya station - downtown area of Ekaterinburg; Koltsovo Airport - Koltsovo International Airport).

To get from the airport you may also use buses and mini-buses (so-called "marshrutka"). They leave from airport bus station. Ticket office is in the terminal A.

By train

Ekaterinburg is an important railway junction on the Trans-Siberian Railway. There are daily trains to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and other cities.

You may take the express "Ural" #15/16 that goes from Kazansky train station in Moscow. There is also train №8 that goes 3 times per week from Yaroslavsky train station in Moscow. A couple of trains go daily from Moscow to Ekaterinburg.

From Saint-Petersburg there is a daily train #73/74 "Demidovsky Express". Or you may take fast train №71 that goes from Moskovsky train station every day. Trip from Moscow to Ekaterinburg takes 29 hours.

Please, note that in all rail timetables Ekaterinburg is still called "Sverdlovsk".

By bus

You may get to Ekaterinburg by bus from any city in Russia or abroad. There are two bus stations in Ekaterinburg — North Bus Terminal and South Bus Terminal.
