Participants of "The Laboratory of Arts" from Ekaterinburg had created a cartoon on snow devoted to the 8th of March - the International Women's Day.
As the Head o f the project and one of the authors of the idea Kirill Skripko said, for several days they were making a cartoon project named "Woman Nature, Mother Earth" on the space of 15m x 20m in a yard on Baumana ulitsa, 31A.
"We tried to show important stages of woman's growth : babyhood, school years, adolescence, middle age, old age; we used different metaphors, which each of us understands subconsciously. We aimed to show the lightest, the most valuable things, which only women can have", - Kirill explains.
According to Kirill, no one has ever created a snow cartoon on the surface of 15x20m; this cartoon does not have any analogs in the whole world.
The cartoon lasts for 2 minutes, the technique used is monumental, the style may be referred to "naive arts." Three colors were used: red (basic) with the use of blue and greet. (to make the green color they used brilliant green.)
The total cost was shared by peer artists. The whole cartoon cost 6 000 rubles.
The whole process took 4 days, about seventy paintings were created.
