Description
For all the productions one sees of Alexander Sukhovo-Kobylin's three plays, the great XIXth-century author of deeply, even jarringly, disturbing comedies somehow remains beyond our grasp. Each time one of his plays is produced, there is a sense that it is being discovered for the first time.
That is certainly true interpretation of Krechinsky's Wedding on the stage of the Sverdlovsk Academic Theatre of Musical Comedy directed by the prominent Ural’s director Kirill Strezhnev.
It is the first and „lightest” piece in the famous trilogy about people being consumed by greed and evil. But there is plenty in this play to disconcert anyone with even the toughest set of nerves.

Description
Before going on an overseas journey, a merchant father asks his three daughters what they would like him to bring back for them. The eldest asks for a shining tiara, the middle asks for a frame through which her face would always appear young, and the youngest (Nastenka) asks her father to bring her a beautiful scarlet flower like one which she saw in her dreams…
Great example of the traditional Russian folk tales.

Description
Bulbul was a famous Azerbaijani opera and folk music performer and one of the founders of vocal arts and national musical theatre in Azerbaijan.
In his songs, Bulbul was able to blend national manners of performance with traditions of Italian vocal school. He was also first to play the lead role of Koroglu in Uzeyir Hajibeyov's opera of the same name in 1938.
Bulbul was awarded the highest order of the Soviet Union – the USSR State Prize, as well as the Stella di Garibaldi order in Italy.
His son Polad Bulbuloglu is also an accomplished singer and actor, and is the current Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia.
Ballet based on the Azerbaijan epic story Dede-Gorgud.

Sergey Shnurov & Rock-Band Ruble
Description
Sergey Shnurov, also known by his nickname Shnur (Russian word for Cord), is a Russian singer and the frontman of Ruble rock-band and former ska-punk band Leningrad.
He gets popularity despite the fact that most of his songs contain explicit lyrics.
Western audiences can hear a few of his songs on the soundtrack to Everything Is Illuminated, including the hugely popular Dikij Mushchina (Wild Man).
Shnurov also composed music for many other movies, including the Russian cult-film Boomer. He released a solo album with the same foul language.
In Ekaterinburg Sergey Shnurov is going to present his new album and gives a concert with his new rock-group Ruble.

The Church on the Blood and the Sverdlovsk Region Folklore Club present the exhibition devoted to a Russian peasant’s family and traditional Russian toys that were popular in peasant families before the Russian Revolution.
You will see dolls made of wood and fabric, traditional wooden toys, brown ware, child clothes, etc. All items are hand-made with using of wood, clay, woollen cloth, and fabric.
