Dmitry Bozin in a theatre performance «Tortoise» (Cherepaha)
Description
Dmitry Bozin is the key actor of the Roman Viktyuk Theatre, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and poet. The theatre performance «Tortoise» (Tcherepaha) is based on poems of Marina Zvetaeva, Iosif (Joseph) Brodsky and Dmitry Bozin.
In January Dmitry Bozin visited Ekaterinburg but not so many people had an opportunity to enjoy his show. During the performance Dmitry reads poems of Marina Zvetaeva, Iosif Brodsky and Huan Ramon Himenes and his own works.
Musician and composer Anastasiya Zhivotovskaya performs with Dmitry at the same scene. She creates a soundtrack for Bozin’s performance that includes classic and jazz tunes and parts from Stravinsky, Grieg and Gershwin.

Description
The play «The Pillowman» is a National Theatre Award Golden Mask-2009 nominee.
A young writer is interrogated by two detectives. They try to figure out the reason why the writer’s stories have so much in common with a recent group of child murders that have taken place in a city.
The play is performed within the scope of a culture project «Behind the Wall Theatre.»

Description
The Snow Maiden - Spring Fairy Tale (Snegurochka-Vesennyaya Skazka) is an opera in four acts with a prologue by Nicolay Rimsky-Korsakov composed during 1880-1881. The Russian libretto, by the composer, is based on the like-named play by Alexander Ostrovsky (which had premiered in 1873 with incidental music by Tchaikovsky). It remained the composer’s own favorite work. It’s a wonderful and sad story about Snegurochka, the daughter of the god of Winter and the goddess of Spring, who doesn’t want to exist without love.

The Moscow Easter Festival
Description
The Moscow Easter Festival was inaugurated by the artistic and general director of the Mariinsky Theatre Valery Gergiev and the mayor of Moscow Yury Luzkov. It has quickly developed into one of the largest and most authoritative musical forums in Russia and Europe.
The First Festival was held at Easter 2002 with support of the Moscow government and blessing of the Patriarch Alexei II of Moscow and All Russia.
Since 2004 festival concerts have been held in different regions of Russia. Music-lovers in Russian province who lack cultural events have a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with the greatest musicians of the world. For the past few years 34 Russian regions have been involved into the concerts tours of Moscow Easter Festival.

Description
The world famous «Provincial Dances» theatre has its own style easily recognizable combining choreography and plastic arts presents the dance performance «Wings at Tea.»
The choreographer Tatiana Baganova directed it for American Dance Festival. The company has performed this production in many countries such as Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Lithuania and Latvia. The dancers present the performance at their native city.
«Wings at Tea» has become the nominee of the National Theatre Award «The Golden Mask» in three nominations. The original music was written specifically for the performance by the cellist Chris Lancaster who also plays the cello during the performance.

«The past is valuable as the present moment for everyone,» said Balazs Baranay. The performance tells us about meeting of the past and the future, nostalgia and perpetual motion around Time.
