Charley's Aunt (Rus. – Tetka Charli)
«Charley's Aunt» is a farce in three acts written by Brandon Thomas. It tells of the extremes to which young men will go to spend time with young women. With a spirit that the entire family can enjoy, mistaken identity, long-lost loves and sweet courtship all collide in the play to form the happiest of possible endings.

Khanuma
Director: Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Isakov
«Khanuma» by Avksenti Tsagareli (1857-1902), a well-known Georgian comediographer and dramatist.
One of the most interesting pages of Georgian music history is connected with Victor Dolidze's name. He is known as the author of the first Georgian comic opera. This genre determined his creative work. Victor Dolidze was gifted with all the features so essential for a composer and dramatist: talent, temperament, sharp feeling of theatricality, ability to create distinguished musical and scenic characters and situations. He is the first Georgian composer to include humorous, comic and satirical elements into Georgian music. Khanuma is the immortal image of the Tbilisi.

The Academic Opera and Ballet House of Ekaterinburg
«La Boheme» – Veronika Dzhioeva
The premiere of Giacomo Puccini's opera «La Boheme» takes place on March, 4th, 5th and 6th.
Fabio Mastrangelo, the main conductor of the theatre, has named «La Bohme» the most outstanding opera without any doubts: «This year is declared the year of France in Russia and year of Russia in France. The «La Boheme» scene is set in Paris, so we may safely name our performance French.»
The opera «La Boheme» brought Puccini true success and world glory. It was the opera's 100th anniversary in 2006.

Nicole Fournier, USA
Award-winning «Blueswoman of the Year» in 1999 and multiple nominee by the Washington Blues Society for her singing, guitar-playing and her two CD's, Nicole has been entertaining audiences for many years with her «searing, stinging guitar and heart-felt vocals.»
She has a strong following performing at clubs, festivals and concert venues. Nicole has performed with such blues notables as John Lee Hooker, Big Bones, Deacon Jones, Harvey Mandel, and she has opened for such performers as Elvin Bishop, Joe Louis Walker, Curtis Salgado and Lonnie Brooks.
Nicole was introduced to the Northwest in 1992 when John Lee Hooker invited her to sit in at a sold-out show at Seattle's Moore Theater. Since then Nicole has set her roots in the Northwest and has performed with the best of the Northwest's blues musicians, including Duffy Bishop, Jerry Miller, Nick Vigarino, Dick Powell, «Little Bill Engelhard,» Fat James, Jay Mabin and Charles White, to name a few.

The Ekaterinburg Gallery of Modern Art
The Golden Fund of the Ural
The project is devoted to the 65th anniversary of the museum and demonstrates real masterpieces of Russian artists, which have not been exhibited in Ekaterinburg before.
The exposition contains 21 paintings, among which are Russian Arts of the XVIIIth to the first half of the XIXth centuries presented by portraits by Borovskoy, Tropinin, academic arts by paintings of Aivazovsky and Semiradsky. One can also see works by the Itinerants - Shishkin, Vereschaguin and Repin.

Alexander Kruglov: Countries and People
Traditionally at the beginning of a new year «The House of Metenkov» presents its first personal exhibition with artists from the «Young photographers of Ekaterinburg» project. The exhibition runs till March, 10.

The Ekaterinburg History Museum
The Reflection of Light: Vladimir Samarin & Marina Lazareva
The exhibition represents works by Vladimir Samarin and Marina, who have a passion for the mezzo-tinto technique of engraving. They gave life to many light images in «black manner», another word for mezzo-tinto.
In Vladimir Samarin's landscapes a spectator will meet ancient near Moscow churches and landscapes. On Marina Lazareva's canvases one can see architectural sets of old Moscow, philosophical scenes, inspired by open air impressions and sketches and also «the flower series.»

The Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts
Georg Baselitz – Druckgrafik, 1965-1992
Georg Baselitz studied painting at the Hochschule fur bildende und angewandte Kunst and at the Hochschule der bildenden Kunste, West Berlin. During this period, he adopted the surname Baselitz, taken from the name of his birthplace.In searching for alternatives to Socialist Realism and Art Informel, he became interested in anamorphosis and in the art of the mentally ill.
In 1980 Baselitz was chosen to represent Germany at the Venice Biennale. During the 1980s and into the 1990s, his work was frequently exhibited at the Michael Werner Galleries, Cologne and New York.
Since the late 1980s, solo exhibitions and retrospectives of Baselitz’s work have been presented at the Sala d’Arme di Palazzo Vecchio, Florence; Nationalgalerie, Berlin; Kunsthalle der Hypo-Kulturstiftung, Munich and Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York.

The International Jazz Festival
In the frameworks of The International Jazz Festival - Boris Savoldelli, Italy
Boris is a great vocal perfomer with a brilliant personality. He’s always been in love with his «vocal instrument» and its extraordinary possibilities. Boris loves to find different original ways of singing, due to his very different backgrounds, from classical studies until jazz singing (thanks to his mentor Mark Murphy), passing from rock-funk to avant-garde experimental approach.
In these last few years he starts a collaboration with the Decostructing Metajazz Band «SADO» and released the album «Holzwege», but the most representative Boris’ work is the album titled «INSANOLOGY», an experimental vocal solo project, composed, arranged and recorded using only a looper machine and no musical instrument (except for two tracks played by Marc Ribot on guitars).
In June 2009 the New York Label Moonjune releases his new duo cd with Elliott Sharp titled «Protoplasmic»
