Olenyi Ruchyi Nature Resource Park

The nature resource park Olenyi Ruchyi is situated in the lower reach of the Serga River, between the town of Nizhnie Sergi and Arakaevo village,130 kilometers from Ekaterinburg

The small territory (12700 hectares) has become one of the most popular tourist’s places of the Middle Ural for the last 100 years.

Developed communications, amazingly beautiful scenery of the ancient river valley and a lot of sights attract the most exacting connoisseurs of nature.

The central estate of the park is situated in Bazhukovo village (Nizhne-Serginsky district). This place is interesting because of the great variety of flora and fauna, beautiful landscapes, and the lower reach of the Serga river that is a border of climatic zones.

If you start your first visit to Olenyi Ruchyi in Bazhukovo village, than it’s better to use the special route.

There are about 100 caves, beautiful cliffs and a 50 meter deep canyon on its territory. You can see an ancient cave with the pictures made 1000 years ago and even a statue of an angel on a cliff

Though visiting peak is in summer, in October you can enjoy special events outdoor activity, including boating, kayaking, rafting and mountain climbing.
