Annual Skiing Competition Ski Track

Annual skiing competition and unique countrywide event where at least 600 000 participants from 84 cities take part.

It’s one of the main and important sport events in the Sverdlovsk region.

Any citizen or city guest irrespective of his or her age or fitness level is qualified to participate. The participants are free to choose the length of the route depending on personal fitness and weather conditions. There are also additional check points on the itineraries including those for skiers. 16 ski pavilions are ready to host all participants of the competition.

The second part of the competition holds at the Nizhny Tagil training ground and has 5-km and 10-km rounds. Only professional sportsmen are taking part at this sport event.

This event traditionally attracts many tourists who may enjoy beautiful winter nature, visit one of the famous Ural landmarks - the border of Europe and Asia - and take part in skiing rally.
