Family Life in the Heart of Russia

Sinead O'Reilly Henell - coming to Ekaterinburg was not something my husband and I had ever thought about doing, especially at the time with a 9 month old daughter.

About the city

Ekaterinburg is a major city in the central part of Russia and the administrative center of Sverdlovsk Region.

Ekaterinburg was founded in 1723 as an industrial settlement due to its unique geographical location.

Why is Ekaterinburg considered to be the capital of Constructivism avant-garde style of art and architecture?
